Gujarat govt. has announced Vahali Dikri Yojna Form (Dear Daughter Scheme) for girl children of the state. Under this Vahali Dikri Yojna, the state govt. will provide education incentives and Rs. 1 lakh to first and second daughters of family.

This one lakh assistance amount would be provided when the girl attains the age of 18 years. People would be able to fill the Vhali Dikari Yojna registration / application form to avail assistance.

The state govt. of Gujarat has started Vahali Dikri Yojna 2019 in order to improve the sex ratio which currently stands at 883 girls per 1000 boys. The amount under Vahali Dikri Yojna would be provided for wedding or higher education.

In the recent Gujarat Budget 2019-20, the state govt. has allocated Rs. 133 crore for Vahli Dikri Yojana.

In the ‘Vahali Dikari Yojana‘, the assistance of 4000 will be given when the girl comes first to help families having income of 2 lakh. When it comes to 9th standard, assistance of 6000 will be given. As well as completing 18 years, 1 lakh will be given assistance. The daughter-daughter scheme will help in preventing female feticide and will encourage girls’ education and get a bigger amount for the higher education and her marriage, when the daughter becomes an adult, the benefit of the girl daughter’s scheme will be available to the family with annual income of Rs 2 lakh annually. According to the government, it has been decided to give loans of Rs 1 lakh to small traders at just 2% interest. CM Rupani himself announced this and also indicated to start the trade-industry at the earliest.

The Gujarat government on Thursday announced a scheme under which people from the lower middle-income group can take a guarantee-free loan of Rs 1 lakh from banks at a two percent annual interest rate.

The scheme is intended to help people start a normal life that has been affected by the Kovid-19 lockdown. Six percent interest will be paid by the government to the banks lending under the Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana (AGSY).

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the Central Government has given a package of Rs 20 lakh crore to make India self-reliant. The state government has also decided to introduce Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana for small traders, skilled workers, auto rickshaw owners, electricians and barbers etc.
